During the dilution process, use a clean container and stirring tool to slowly pour the penetrant into the water and stir continuously to ensure uniform mixing. If the dilution ratio is not appropriate, poor penetration may occur. If the concentration is too high, waste may occur and subsequent reactions may be affected. If the concentration is too low, the expected penetration and treatment effect cannot be achieved.


Construction application

The choice of construction method depends on the specific application scenario and the object to be treated. In building waterproofing projects, commonly used construction methods include spraying, brushing and rolling. Spraying is suitable for large-area, flat-surface concrete structures, such as basement walls and roofs. This process usually takes several days to several weeks, and the specific time is affected by factors such as ambient temperature and humidity. While waiting for the reaction, avoid disturbing the treated surface and keep the environmental conditions relatively stable. For example, in a low temperature and dry environment, the reaction speed will slow down, and appropriate heat preservation and moisturizing measures can be taken to promote the reaction. After industrial cleaning, it is also necessary to ensure that the cleaning fluid reacts fully with the dirt, so that impurities such as oil and dirt are completely dispersed and emulsified, which is convenient for subsequent rinsing.


Post-use treatment

After use, the remaining water-based penetrant should be properly stored in accordance with the requirements of the product manual, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperature or low temperature environment to prevent its performance from changing. For used construction tools, such as spray guns, brushes, etc., they should be cleaned with clean water in time to prevent the residual penetrant from drying on the tools and affecting the next use. In application scenarios such as industrial cleaning, the waste liquid generated needs to be specially treated. Although water-based penetrants are relatively environmentally friendly, they still need to be neutralized, precipitated, filtered, etc. according to local environmental protection regulations and sewage treatment requirements, and then discharged after meeting the emission standards.
