Product properties
HR-8013 is soluble in water and a variety of common solvents such as alcohols, diols, ketones, aromatics and chlorinated solvents. It is insoluble in higher aliphatic products such as heptane or kerosene, or in some of the other nonionic, cationic, and anionic surfactants .
HR-8013 has good surface activity as evidenced by the reduction of surface tension in water. It is particularly effective compared to other commonly used surfactants, especially at low concentrations.
HR-8013 is a general purpose wetting agent for latex paint manufacturing. As shown in Table 2, the greatest benefit from its low foaming properties can be obtained at temperatures of 100 (37.8°C) or higher. Such temperatures are often reached during high speed color dispersion.
Uses.
It can be used in emulsion polymerization, waterborne coatings, emulsion paints, printing paints, printing pastes, waterborne industrial paints, floor polishes, wax emulsifiers, agrochemicals and so on.
Usage method:
Add amount according to 0.1-0.4% per ton of emulsion paint. It can effectively wet titanium dioxide and other pigments and fillers, such as talc, calcium carbonate, kaolin, etc. in latex paint. It can maintain the stability of the paint, help to overcome the disadvantages of floating color and blooming, and shorten the grinding and dispersing time.
Packing and storage
Package: 25kg/drum
Store in dry, cool and ventilated place, and take necessary anti-freezing measures when the temperature is too low.
