Product properties 5260 is a kind of polyester-based chain phosphate ester, due to the phosphate ester and metal surface bonding, so 5260 can improve the oil-based paint and water-based paint on the metal substrate adhesion, the effect is better on aluminum, cold rolled steel, galvanized steel effect is better, but also to improve the flexibility of the paint film and corrosion resistance. 5260 can be widely used in coating systems.

Addition 5260 is a light yellow liquid, it is recommended to add it at the grinding stage or at the paint mixing stage with high speed mixing or slow speed. When used in aqueous systems, it can be neutralized with ammonia to pH 7, or added directly to ammonia-added systems. This product has the function of acid, it has catalytic effect and cross-links the amine-based paint during baking, therefore, the amount of catalyst can be reduced or the baking temperature can be lowered.
Addition Usually 1-2% (W/W) of the total amount of the formula is added, in some cases 3% of the total amount is added. The amount to be added is determined by testing to find the right amount of adhesion.

Packing and Storage 5260 is packed in plastic drums, please use the original drums for sealed storage at temperatures between -5℃ and 30℃.
