Madagascar Differences in water-based mineral oil Free of silicone defoamers(1)
Madagascar Advantages of water-based mineral oil in water-based paint systems:
Organosilicon type Free of silicone defoamers can reduce tension on the surface of coatings, have excellent defoaming and foam inhibiting capabilities, and have little effect on the gloss of the coating film under different environmental factors. However, when not used properly, they can cause poor recoating performance, uneven surface such as film shrinkage, and polyether type defoamers have high compatibility requirements and weak defoaming capabilities.
dispersant
Explanation in reference book
An agent that promotes the uniform dispersion of material particles in the medium to form a stable suspension. Dispersants are generally divided into two categories: inorganic dispersants and organic dispersants. Commonly used inorganic dispersants include silicates (such as water glass) and alkali metal phosphates (such as sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium hexametaphosphate, and sodium pyrophosphate). Organic dispersants include triethylhexyl phosphoric acid, sodium dodecyl sulfate, methyl pentanol, cellulose derivatives, polyacrylamide, gum, fatty acid polyethylene glycol esters, etc.
agent
The water-based mineral oil Free of silicone defoamershas a fast defoaming speed and a foam inhibiting effect of up to several hours, which is also well matched with the foam system. It can be carried out in harsh environments such as high temperatures and strong alkalis, with good results. After use, there will be no phenomena such as oil bleaching and demulsification
